Our Christian recovery ministry has a mission to help couples with marriage recovery by facing their addictive behaviors, coping with the loss of the addiction, and coping with the wounds of a spouse’s addiction.
Where Are You in the Journey?
- Not sure that I have a problem -> Take the confidential self-test
- I am a sex addict and my wife (or husband) does not know
- I am a sex addict and my wife (or husband) knows
- My wife and I are both sex addicts or one of us has a different addiction
- I am a recovered addict but my wife (or husband) has not taken part in any recovery activity.
If you have made meaningful progress in your recovery work in your support group …
And if your spouse has also been engaged in recovery work in their support group as well …
And if, in those safe places, you each have become comfortable with authenticity, vulnerability, and transparency, which are all key elements to overcoming the intimacy disorder …
You may both be ready to solidify true intimacy in your marriage!
While your marriage has undoubtingly improved during your individual recovery journeys, there is another resource to help you further solidify and improve your marriage.
L.I.F.E. Guide for Couples
The L.I.F.E. Guide for Couples is written for any couple with or without prior recovery from sexual addiction. This workbook resource can be used in a group setting or as a self-led resource in the comfort of your home. L.I.F.E. Recovery feels that couples will fully benefit from this Guide during, or after participating, in their own recovery using the appropriate workbook for the recovering addict (L.I.F.E. Guide for Men or L.I.F.E. Guide for Women) and the spouse of the recovering addict (L.I.F.E. Guide for Spouses).
